The first-look poster features a newspaper clipping with the headline, “Encounter in the city: 6 dead police or wild dog?” This indicates that Nagarjuna who plays ACP Vijay Varma is trying to crack a case. He is fondly called as the Wild Dog given his history of dealing with criminals.
Reportedly, Wild Dog, directed by Ashishor Solomon, is based on true incidents. According to the sources, the makers have already wrapped up the first schedule and are gearing up to resume shoot soon. The film, produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, has dialogue writer Kiran Kumar and cinematographer Shaneil Deo as part of the technical crew.
